These terms govern the use of our website at carzevaal.pro and the arrangement of car rental services by Carzeval. By submitting an enquiry or entering into a rental arrangement with us, you acknowledge that you have read and understood these terms.

Arrangement Summary

1. Definitions
Throughout these terms, the following words carry the meanings assigned below:
- "Carzeval", "we", "us", "our" — refers to Carzeval, a vehicle rental business registered at 54 Jalan Metro Perdana 8, Kepong, 52100 Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia.
- "Client" — the individual or organisation that submits an enquiry or enters into a rental arrangement with Carzeval.
- "Arrangement" — the confirmed rental of a vehicle under one of the three packages offered by Carzeval, as confirmed in writing.
- "Arrangement Period" — the agreed duration of the rental, beginning at the confirmed handover time and ending at the confirmed return or collection time.
- "Vehicle" — the motor vehicle assigned to the arrangement as confirmed by Carzeval in the arrangement confirmation.
- "Handover" — the transfer of the vehicle from Carzeval to the client at the agreed handover location and time, as documented at the time of transfer.
- "Website" — the Carzeval website accessible at carzevaal.pro.
2. Arrangement Scope
Carzeval provides car rental arrangements specifically tailored to business travelers visiting Kuala Lumpur. Each arrangement includes the vehicle, the handover process, and the documentation as described for that arrangement type. No additional services (driver, insurance upgrades, additional equipment) are included unless expressly confirmed in writing by Carzeval.
All arrangements are subject to vehicle availability at the time of confirmation. Submitting an enquiry does not constitute a confirmed booking. A confirmed arrangement exists only once Carzeval has communicated written confirmation of the arrangement, including the vehicle class, dates, handover location, and total fee.
The client must hold a valid driving licence appropriate for the vehicle class. For international visitors, an International Driving Permit (IDP) issued by a recognized authority in the client's home country is required alongside the national driving licence. It is the client's responsibility to verify that their licence is valid for use in Malaysia for the duration of the arrangement.
Carzeval arranges vehicles for use within Peninsular Malaysia. Use of the vehicle outside of Peninsular Malaysia is not permitted without prior written agreement from Carzeval.
3. Pricing & Invoicing
All fees are quoted in Malaysian Ringgit (RM) and represent the total arrangement fee for the relevant package as described on the website. Quoted fees are inclusive of the standard vehicle, handover coordination, and documentation described for that arrangement. They do not include fuel, tolls, parking, or any other incidental costs incurred during the arrangement period. These remain the responsibility of the client.
Payment terms will be communicated at the time of confirmation. Carzeval reserves the right to request a partial or full payment before handover, depending on the arrangement type and booking lead time.
Invoices will be issued in the name of the individual or company provided during the enquiry process. It is the client's responsibility to ensure that all billing details (company name, address, registration number if applicable) are provided accurately prior to invoice issuance. Amendments to invoices after issuance may not be possible in all circumstances.
Prices listed on the website are subject to change at Carzeval's discretion. The fee applicable to any given arrangement is the fee confirmed in writing at the time of arrangement confirmation, regardless of subsequent changes to the publicly listed price.
4. Cancellation & Changes
Requests to cancel or amend a confirmed arrangement should be communicated to Carzeval by telephone or email as soon as possible. Carzeval will endeavour to accommodate reasonable changes where operational circumstances allow. Carzeval cannot guarantee that changes to vehicle class, dates, or handover location will be possible once an arrangement has been confirmed.
Cancellations received at least 72 hours before the confirmed handover time will not incur a cancellation fee, and any payments made in advance will be returned in full. Cancellations received within 72 hours of the confirmed handover time may result in a partial retention of any advance payment, up to a maximum of 50% of the total arrangement fee, to cover costs already incurred in preparation of the arrangement.
Carzeval reserves the right to cancel or reschedule an arrangement if a suitable vehicle cannot be made available due to circumstances outside its reasonable control. In such an event, Carzeval will inform the client as promptly as practicable and return any advance payment in full. Carzeval does not accept liability for consequential costs incurred by the client as a result of such a cancellation.
5. Vehicle Use
During the arrangement period, the client is responsible for the vehicle and its condition. The following conditions apply:
- The vehicle must be used in accordance with all applicable road traffic laws in Malaysia.
- The vehicle must not be sub-let, loaned, or made available to any third party without Carzeval's prior written agreement.
- The vehicle must be used only for lawful purposes and must not be used in connection with any activity that is prohibited by law.
- The client must report any accident, damage, theft, or incident involving the vehicle to Carzeval promptly and, where legally required, to the relevant authorities.
- Smoking inside the vehicle is not permitted.
- The vehicle must be returned with a fuel level equivalent to that at handover, unless alternative arrangements have been agreed in advance.
The client accepts responsibility for any traffic summons, parking fines, or toll charges incurred during the arrangement period and agrees to settle these directly or to reimburse Carzeval promptly if Carzeval is required to settle them on the client's behalf.
6. Handover & Return
At handover, Carzeval will document the condition of the vehicle in a brief checklist shared with the client. The client is invited to review this checklist and raise any concerns before accepting the vehicle. Acceptance of the vehicle constitutes acknowledgement of its condition as recorded at that time.
The client is expected to be available at the agreed handover location at the confirmed time. If the client is delayed, Carzeval should be notified as promptly as possible by telephone. Carzeval will hold availability for a reasonable period subject to operational constraints.
At return or collection, the vehicle will be inspected against the handover checklist. Any new damage identified at this stage that was not documented at handover will be discussed with the client. The cost of repair for damage attributable to the arrangement period will be communicated to the client and may be invoiced separately.
For the Weeklong Business Touring arrangement, mid-week contact will be made by Carzeval as described in the arrangement scope. The client is under no obligation to respond to this contact beyond what is needed to confirm continued suitability of the arrangement.
7. Liability
Carzeval's liability in connection with any arrangement or use of the website is limited to the direct losses attributable to Carzeval's own acts or omissions. Carzeval does not accept liability for indirect or consequential losses, including but not limited to missed appointments, business disruption, or costs arising from delays that are outside of Carzeval's direct control.
The vehicle is provided with third-party motor insurance as required under Malaysian law. The extent of insurance coverage will be communicated at the time of arrangement confirmation. The client is responsible for ensuring that they understand the scope of coverage and, if required, arranging supplementary coverage at their own cost.
Nothing in these terms limits or excludes liability that cannot lawfully be excluded under Malaysian consumer protection law.
8. Website Use
The content on this website is provided for informational purposes. While Carzeval makes reasonable efforts to keep information current and accurate, we do not warrant that the website is error-free or that pricing and availability information is continuously up to date.
Use of this website is at the visitor's own risk. Carzeval is not liable for any disruption, error, or data loss arising from use of the website. Links to third-party websites are provided for convenience only; Carzeval does not endorse and is not responsible for the content of third-party sites.
Visitors must not use the website in any manner that is unlawful, disruptive, or that could harm Carzeval, other visitors, or the operation of the website.
9. Governing Law
These terms are governed by and construed in accordance with the laws of Malaysia. Any dispute arising from or in connection with these terms or any arrangement made with Carzeval shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Malaysia.
Carzeval reserves the right to update or revise these terms at any time. Revisions take effect when published on the website. Arrangements confirmed before the date of any revision remain subject to the terms in force at the time of confirmation.
